Our Crib Service this year will need to be via Zoom.
It will take place on Christmas Eve @ 4pm and will be illustrated with ‘Playmobil’ !
Young families and more seniors equally welcome!

These will make the occasion extra special:

Make sure children (or adults!) have paper and pens available.

You will also be invited to light a candle during the service so please have one available (in a safe position) nearby.

You may also want to have some Christmas ‘treats’ to enjoy at the end.

Anyone can dress up as a character from the story (e.g as Mary, Joseph, a Shepherd, a King, an Angel or one of the animals – simply a ‘tee-towel headdress’ is perfect!)

You may like to create a “Prayer Space” next to your computer – for example, your crib scene, your candle, some decorations, anything they want that will make that space feel special and Christmassy

If they wish to, you can draw the Christmas story as we go – during the service: Whilst we’re singing, or praying, or listening

If you don’t finish by the end of the service, that’s fine – you can finish at any time.

When the drawing is done, please take a picture and then email it to me (rev.mandymacvean@gmail.com) to share on the Church’s Facebook Page.

If you have Lego or Playmobil or Play-doh, and would rather make a 3-d model instead of a drawing, they can do that too – again, please take a picture and send it to me.

Anyone in costume,will be invited to join in parts of the prayers at the end.
