Sinking of The Tirpitz Lecture

On Saturday 8th June
Dr. Robert Owen, the official historian of the 617 squadron, will be returning to St Lawrence Church to deliver a lecture marking the 75th anniversary of the sinking of Tirpitz by the Dambusters.
7.30pm in St Lawrence Church.
Free entry but retiring collection in aid of Parish Funds.
Signed Book Auction
We will also be auctioning Patrick Bishop’s Book “Target Tirpitz” which has been especially signed for the event by two 617 Squadron Veterans who took part in the attacks on the Battleship and also one of the Fleet Air Arm pilots who made one of the earlier attacks.
